Australia-based Billabong (it’s a town name, not just a surf brand) brews both gluten-free and non gluten-free beers — some of these have the same names so be sure when you seek this brand out.
Billabong have two other gluten free beers under works, according to their website — a mid strength and a dark ale. The beers carry the Australian Coeliac Society logo, which indicates that they have reviewed the recipe and “are satisfied that the processes in manufacture ensure no gluten containing matter can contaminate the product.” Each batch of beer is also laboratory-tested to 5ppm.
