University of Maryland Center for Celiac Research

| More

The U of M Center for Celiac Research engages in clinical care, research, education and diagnostic support. The website has a series of helpful videos, such as on childhood symptoms, blood tests and misdiagnoses, as well as tips on how to eat gluten free in restaurants.

As of June 2009, the Center was working on a study to understand whether “the timing of gluten introduction in the diet of infants, genetically at risk for celiac disease, may affect the chance to develop the disease.” Those interested in the study should contact: glutenproject@peds.umaryland.edu.

They also sponsor the annual Walk/Run for Celiac Disease.
